Green Nudges in Agriculture and Forestry Conference
Green Nudges in Agriculture & Forestry Conferences are a series of events organised under the ForestAgriGreenNudge project. These conferences bring together experts and practitioners interested in how behavioural and cognitive insights can support more sustainable approaches to managing agriculture and forestry systems.
The events convene researchers, policymakers, farmers, foresters, and organisations across Europe to explore how nudges, or subtle adjustments in how choices and information are presented, can encourage climate-friendly and sustainable practices without limiting freedom of choice.
Through interactive discussions, practical sessions, and real-world examples, participants examine how behavioural approaches can enhance decision-making related to soil, water, crops, and forest management. The goal is to move beyond theory and demonstrate how evidence-based nudges can be applied effectively, from on-the-ground actions to policy and programme design.
The conferences aim not only to share research findings but also to connect people who can drive practical change, testing ideas, challenging assumptions, and co-creating solutions that are both effective and ethical.
Information about upcoming conferences, calls for participation, and event materials will be published here as the project progresses.
